One more day in the studio for dubs on the Optophobia recordings! Organs, whistles, extra keys and a lot of Moog Sub Phatty… extra backgrounds, themes and synth strings… And then on with mixing… it is exciting in these corona times to be so intensively working with music again !!! I hope I can quickly share this energy with you !!!

the NRJO is recording!
The New Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra (NRJO) has also made new recordings! In the EXALTO studios in Haarlem we have recorded 6 fantastic compositions! Pieces by Jelle Roozenburg, Rob van de Wouw, Louk Boudesteijn, Simone Bottasso (IT), Mark Schilders, one piece by myself … What an experience to make such fantastic music in the dark covid pandemic times! I also hope to give a preview of this recording soon !!!
Johan Plomp’s Optophobia
The time has come! From 20-22 February 2021 we made the first recordings of my new project Optophobia in the Eminent Studios in Leiden! I am very happy and proud and I hope to start mixing soon so that I can put some previews on this website !!!
